designPH 3 ist ein Plugin für die beliebte 3D-Konstruktionssoftware SketchUp, das durch automatische Analyse schnelle Ergebnisse liefert. Dies bietet dem Planer Flexibilität, während es während der gesamten Projektentwicklungsphasen zuverlässige Rückmeldungen zur Energieeffizienz gibt und den Datenexport in das Passivhaus Projektierungspaket (PHPP) ermöglicht.
Zur Nutzung von designPH 3 ist eine PHPP-Lizenz ab Version 9 erforderlich, die nicht bereits einer designPH 2-Lizenz zugeordnet ist.

- nach Veröffentlichung ist designPH 3 als 1 Jahres-Lizenz und als 3-Jahres-Lizenz verfügbar
Es handelt sich um eine Einzelplatzlizenz. Sie dürfen die Software jederzeit auf einem Laptop oder Desktop-Computer verwenden. Die Lizenzaktivierung kann beliebig oft zwischen designPH-Installationen auf verschiedenen Rechnern übertragen werden.
Kompatibilität:
- designPH 3 ist derzeit mit den Desktop-Versionen von SketchUp 2017-2025 kompatibel. (INFO: es liegt noch eine Warnung für SU 2026 vor, die ignoriert werden kann)
Kompatibilität mit PHPP:
deisgnPH 3 ist kompatibel mit PHPP und PHPP-IP ab Version 8.

designPH 3 is a plugin for the popular 3D design software SketchUp that delivers rapid results through automated analysis. This offers planners flexibility, whilst providing reliable feedback on energy efficiency throughout all project development phases and enabling data export to the Passive House Planning Package (PHPP).
To use designPH 3, a PHPP licence from version 9 onwards is required, which is not already assigned to a designPH 2 licence.
DesignPH 3 New Features:
- Monthly calculation method for heating and cooling requirements
- Improved ground analysis
- Overlays as an additional graphical information layer for various components
- Significant performance improvement (faster shading detection)
Licence:
- Currently available as a pre-sale licence with immediate provision following the release of designPH 3 in summer 2026 and valid until 30 September 2027
- Following release, designPH 3 will be available as a 1-year licence and a 3-year licence
This is a single-user licence. You may use the software at any time on a laptop or desktop computer. The licence activation can be transferred between designPH installations on different computers as often as required.
Compatibility:
- designPH 3 is currently compatible with the desktop versions of SketchUp 2017–2025. (NOTE: there is still a warning for SU 2026, which can be ignored)
Compatibility with PHPP:
designPH 3 is compatible with PHPP and PHPP-IP from version 8 onwards.
